Before the 1500 people got their ideas about the world from the acient greeks, romans and the bible.The scientific revoloution was a new way of thinking.people started to do expirements to prove things.For example:a man named Aristotle had a theory that heavy things fell faster than lighter ones.Then a man named Galileo proved him wrong. He took two stones of different weight and droped them off a tower. Both stones landed at the same time proving Aristole's theory wrong. Thus Galileo used scientific method to prove Aristotle's theory wrong.
